This article will discuss how to create a Goal Plan for a case.


Goal Plans are added via the case profile page. First, navigate to the case for which you want to create a Goal Plan. Then click “Add Goal Plan” in the Case Actions menu in the left hand sidebar.

On the next page, select the Goal Plan Template you would like to use.

Set the Start Date and End Dates of the Goal Plan, if known.

Then set the Status of the Goal Plan. 

Once you are done filling out any pertinent fields on this screen click ‘Save and Configure Goals’ to continue with the Goal Plan creation process.

 On the next page, Select the desired Goal Category.

Once you have selected a Goal Category, you will be prompted to select a Goal Type.

Next, set the Status of the Goal.

Then Set the Start Date of the Goal Plan. Leave the Completion date blank until later, when the goal has been completed.

Now you can set the Steps of the Goal Plan. Begin by selecting the Step Type.

Then set the Step Status.

The Step Information fields allow you to set the List Order (the order in which the steps appear), Start Date, Target Completion Date, and Completion Date.

After you have set up the Steps, click “Save and View Goal Plan”.

You will then be directed to the Goal Plan Information page where you can review the Goal Plan you just created.
