This article will discuss the In-Line Case Add or Quick Add feature and how to use it.

The In-Line Case Add or Quick Add feature allows you to create associated cases, such as Alleged Offenders and/or Associated Persons, during the intake process. To perform a Quick Add, select “Add new” in the Quick Add Associated Person field.

This will then prompt you to perform a Conflict Check, since you are creating a new case. For more information regarding Conflict Checks, please review the article titled “Conflict Check”.

Once you have performed your Conflict Check and proceeded accordingly, you will then be prompted to enter some quick information regarding the associated case you are creating. Begin by setting the relationship between the two cases.

Then you can set whether or not the individual is in the same household as the primary case.

After that, you can set the Case Status of the associated case.

Next, select the appropriate Case Type that you are creating.

Then fill out any remaining information you have regarding the individual and click “Save New Case”.

The associated case has now been created via the In-Line Case Add or Quick Add feature.
