This article will discuss what a Listview is, and how to utilize listview filtering to narrow down listview results.

Listviews are found all throughout the Collaborate application, and they are simply a means to view a list of pertinent items, hence the name Listview.

To filter results in a listview, click the icon that looks like a funnel, that is the filter button.

Doing so will open the various filter options that you can set. Filter options are split into three columns, Categories, Filter Options, and Active Filters. Filter Categories are specific to the listview with which you are working.

Next, click on the Category you want to filter with.

Then, either type in, or select the Filter Option.

Then, click Filter.

The listview will now be filtered based on the filter parameters you just set.

The currently applied filter parameters can be viewed at any time by looking at the Active Filters section, or by looking at the applied filters along the top of the listview.

Applied filters can be removed one by one or all at once. To remove applied filters one by one, click the “X” next to the filter you want to remove.

To remove your filters and reset the listview back to its default settings, click the Funnel icon with the red X next to it. This is the Reset Listview button.

Some other actions that are available via the listview are the ability to export the listview to an Excel format, a .csv format, and a PDF format. To do so, click on the desired symbol and the listview will download.

Another action you may see in a listview is the “Sort by First Letter” action. Clicking this icon will open up a list of numbers and letters. Click on the number or letter you would like to sort the listview by, and the listview will be sorted by the first letter of the Last Name of the case.

Lastly, listviews can be sorted by clicking the name of the column. For example, clicking the Name column will sort the listview alphabetically by Last Name. As another example, clicking the Age at Intake column will sort the listview from youngest to oldest. Clicking the columns again will sort them reverse alphabetically, or from oldest to youngest, respectively.
