This article will discuss how to best use the Help Widget in Collaborate.


The Help Widget is a highly valuable self-help tool in Collaborate. The widget grants you access to a robust Knowledge Base containing help articles that can answer questions you may have regarding Collaborate.

To access the Help Widget, simply click on the Help icon in the lower left hand corner of the screen.

This will open up the Help Widget.

The Suggested Articles listed will change depending on what page of Collaborate you are currently accessing. These articles should be relevant to the various actions that can be taken on the page you are currently viewing.

If the Suggested Articles are not what you are looking for, you can search by keyword or phrase in the “Search for help” box. Type in the keyword or phrase you are wanting information on and click the magnifying glass icon.

A list of articles related to your keyword or phrase will populate. Next, click on any of the articles that appear to review them.

The contents of the article can be viewed via the Help Widget without having to navigate away from the page you are currently on.

If you would like to review the article in a larger format, click the Expand icon next to the title of the article.

The article will then open in a new browser tab so that you can review the article in a full web page.

You can use the Back button within the Help widget to go back one page within the Widget.

To minimize the Help Widget, click the X in the upper right hand corner of the widget.
