The Case Status of a case can be updated after you have started or completed the Intake process. The most common scenario where you would want to change a case's Case Status is when the case needs to be Closed. 

To change a case's Case Status, click the case’s current Case Status.

On the following page, select the desired Case Status, enter any pertinent information in the General notes field (if applicable), and click Continue to save the changes.

The case's Case Status will now be updated, and a Note will automatically be added to the case describing the update that was just made.
