This article provides the steps necessary to Reset Security Events so that users may log in and resume normal activities.

Resetting Security Events

To access the Reset Security Events page:

  1. Click the Admin tab 
  2. Click Security Settings under the Site Administration heading
  3. Click Reset Security Events from the Sidebar

Once you have reached the Security Reset Form:

  1. Enter any combination of the following three values to reset security events for that user or event type
    • IP Address - the IP address you wish to reset security events for
    • Event - the type of security you wish to reset (multiple login attempts will be the most common)
    • User - the user you wish to reset security events for
  2. Click Continue
