NOTE: This feature is not available to all Networks. For those Networks that do have the functionality, its purpose varies.

Quick Add Associated Persons (aka Inline Intakes) allows you to quickly add associated cases during various intake processes. Rather than completing all the information of the Associated Case, you will only need to enter the very basic information for the Associated Case (e.g. date of birth, relationship to the primary case, biological sex, etc.). Adding Associated Cases to a case via Inline Intake will allow you to choose those names from various dropdown lists later during the intake process.

For Example, if you enter the Alleged Offender’s basic information during Inline Intake, a few steps later you can select that Alleged Offender’s name when you are entering allegation information.

An advantage of using Quick Add Associated Persons is that it allows you to select the case as a caregiver or alleged offender later in the intake for the case you are currently entering. If you use Quick Add Associated Persons, it is recommended that you complete the primary intake that you are working on. Then navigate to the cases you created during the Quick Add process and then complete their intakes.

See the comparison article Quick Add / Inline Intake vs Create New Associated... for an overview of the advantages of using either of these methods when entering cases into Collaborate.
